Mono Monday 56 - Ancient Buildings

Today's mono Monday theme is Ancient Buildings.
 
The oldest part of the Castle still remaining is St Margaret's Chapel which  dates from the 12th century whilst the Royal Palace and the Great Hall pre-date the 16th Century. Ancient indeed!

The blip also shows the top of the Ross Fountain in Princes St Gardens.
