High Tide!

Over the last 2 days the tides have been higher than at any other time in the last 18 years.  This is because the sun, moon and earth are temporarily aligned in such a way as to produce a greater than normal gravitational force over the oceans. 

If you look closely you can see that the WW2 pillbox on the left bank of the river mouth is already inundated with water and there is still another hour to go before high tide is reached.
