View from Aughton

In theory it is the first day of my holiday. 
What a difference it makes feeling that you are waking up on holiday!
Unfortunately I have work to complete before I go away.
I made a list of 14 work items to be done, the rest can wait. 
I worked all morning and completed 4

Went out for pre-arranged lunch with a friend. This was third time lucky as I had to cancel twice. We planned to go to The Ship and I had planned another canal blip, like Friday. The Ship was closed so we went elsewhere. I took this on the way home. I've blipped this view before but what a difference it makes just from the other end of the lay-by. I was trying to work out where the road behind had been before!

Worked all afternoon. Currently the list is down to 7.5. Just under 2hrs to go before I have to be out at a work meeting. No pressure there then. That will be the first holiday day gone!
