La Gran Francia

Just realised that I have a few days' worth of photos from March 2014 still to be added to my Blipfoto collection! Oops!

Our hotel in Granada, Nicaragua was a grand affair - very colonial in style and quite quirky, but comfortable nonetheless. It was at first, therefore, disappointing that two of us found ourselves being asked to stay in the annexe across the road from the main hotel building and next to the busy Cathedral.

However, we soon realised that the place had its own comforts, including this large and very comfortable lounge area. In fact, many of our tour group became quite jealous that two people should have such comforts and so we ended up hosting a drinks & nibbles session before we all went out for our dinner one night.
