Thinking Day

Yesterday, was 22nd February, Thinking Day for those members of Guiding and Scouting around the world.
In my case, with my family background it's also a day for thinking of my family. Being a hoarder as I am I have a large selection of badges of my own, my mum's and my daughters'.
These badges cover mum's time as a guide and ranger leader, my own time as brownie, guide ranger and guider and Katy and Ali's too. The cloth badges are my guide badges, including first class and Queen's Guide, the white lanyard is a special knotted one my mum made - she was a sea-ranger over the war years.
My PLP (patrol leader's permit) flash is also there, allowing me, at the age of 16 to take my patrol, the Canary patrol, away on a weekend guide camp. Changed days.
