Mwah, hah, hah!

School was looking decidedly ominous at lunchtime today when the clouds rolled in. An extreme weather warning got the kids all psyched up. When the clouds dumped a whole load of rain on us, they really got excited.

This afternoon was more of a student management than teaching kind of a thing for sure. Added to that, the guy drilling into my classroom's window frames for the first hour after lunch, I was glad to get out of there today!

Little Miss was at basketball practice, so I swung by and picked her up on my way home. She's been made student of the week for her grade today, so is feeling as proud as punch. So are we!
