More Lines and Patterns

There are so many differences working with film versus working with digital.  Commercial demands will push digital forward in time I'm sure, but I'm remembering how it feels to mull over pictures between taking them and printing them .... and the process of evaluating pictures when it is as much as days between taking them and seeing the first rendition (in negative and in miniature ... )

This negative was disappointing when I took it out of the developing drum.  If I'm honest it was under-exposed and only the incredible versatility of Tri-X has saved the shadow detail.  It would also have been quite difficult to print well in a conventional darkroom, but with the wonders of digital technology it doesn't have to be consigned to the dustbin.  Overall I'm quite pleased with what I've captured here .... I do need to up my game with exposure though.  Time to start using the zone system again I think .....
