The sand beneath our feet

Today we took a trip with friends to Half Moon Bay to visit the beach for the afternoon.  B is pretty scared of the ocean if it is loud - which it was today.  It took a while but we managed to move from terrified to stand on the sand to playing in the water with Daddy.  We also spent time looking for 'Treasure' to take home with us and both B and I loved looking at the texture of the sand
