So many seed catalogs!

It's that time of the year to lock myself inside and study the seed catalogs. Every year I plant at least one new thing in my garden. Usually a new veggie. But sometimes it is an herb or flower. This year I'm toying with the idea of planting only heirlooms. I always plant some but fear if I go all in I will miss some of my non-heirloom favorites. I start my seeds in a homemade cold frame and always swear they will never catch up with the ones offered in the local greenhouses. They always do...getting spring fever!
