Watch your step

Some people walk with their heads in clouds; I walk with my head pointing down. Such fabulous things you can find!  Just last week I found enormous acorns (from an oak tree much less common than the lovely live oak). Today, a mysterious piece of wire. I like its shape, the scratched-up exposed copper, and the dirty insulation. I got lazy and didn't pull out my lightbox; it would have made a better picture.
