Bottled sun

OK. So the wind this evening is getting up to its max gusting to 55 from due South.

I took on some of the logs today with the chainsaw. Just getting them down to splitting size. Bunty suggested hiring a log splitter - can you really do that (she's in NZ where things are so practical).

The morning dawned splendid. A red sun in a clear sky. We were up worrying about J's mum who'd had a fall and been to A and E in Edinburgh. Bags packed. Ready to fly. The awful march of Parkinson's.

We took a trip down to the Bay and saw three Perigrines duelling in the - ok 'azure' - sky. Like trying to catch dust on a cinema screen. One shot got through the test. Then an unusual array of ferries and other shipping in a sparkling sea.

But I went for the olive oil bottle I'd just refilled whilst making the coffee. The air bubbles catching the sun. Bottled sun twice, I thought.

Thank you for all the recent comments. Will post replies tomorrow. Sorry for the delay.
