Baby shower today...we started at 11.30 & finished around 7....mum to be left earlier (while it was still daylight) but four of us got distracted by tales of a rough diamond!

It was an entertaining event, fab cake from our resident kuchen kônigen*, and conversation ranging from the ability of a 1 legged best friend to carry drinks across a room without spilling, to stealing baby names fom your best friend, to dating guys with a glass eye...

Just the run of the mill baby shower conversation I'm sure....

* somehow 'cake queen' doesn't have the same ring to it.
