Super tide

In addition to the very high tides around the place at the moment, Worthing has also seen some very low tides, it doesn't get as low as the last couple of days again this year. There is a shot I really want to get when the tide is out and the pier ends up completely on dry land so you can take a picture of the pier looking back into town. Unfortunately the low tides have been at 6am ish or 6 pm ish. I have been too unwell and lazy for the morning tide and too unwell and a bit scared of walking all the way out to sea in the virtual darkness in case I fall, break my leg and get washed out to sea for the evening tide. (You can see how my accident has made my mind stupidly come up with a wealth different leg breaking situations now).

I decided I could absolutely manage high tide at quarter to two in the afternoon though. It was wonderfully, wet, windy and wild. Just as it should be for the highest tide in (apparently) 18 years.

The rest of the day has been lovely. Long lie in, decided I felt a bit better today, Homework Club, Laundry Mountain Management (we all need the capital letters to make us feel we are doing Important Things), Chinese takeaway with my mum and dad ( too ill to cook, too wet to go out as planned). A v nice Sunday.

Two more weeks before I have to introduce a full time job into my days. I have to be honest, I don't quite know where it is going to fit.....
