The Arrival of Spring

Today we met friends at Salts Mill, to view the new David Hockney exhibition.
33 pictures  5 ft high, depict a specific day between Januany 1st and May 31st  2011.
All created on his ipad.
He really does move with the times!

There is also another exhibition on show, entitled 
People and Process:  A History of Salts Mill.
This reveals something of the 133 year history of the mill.

Both wonderful exhibitions, and as well as the other shops, antique centre, and wonderful coffee shop, we spent at least 3/4 hours there before going back to our friend's for bacon sandwiches and tea.

What a truly enjoyable day.
