River life

Sitting by the river today seeing all sorts of life and behaviour. The water fowl seem well adjusted to humans and tolerate them at very close distances indeed. However should a human bring his four legged friend with him then it's a different story. Mayhem ensues and various squarks and cries ring out followed by almighty splashes into the refuge of the river.

Not much human life to be seen on the river. A lone canoeist paddled by followed by this barge. Now this could be the life for me on these hot balmy days.
