Chinese Celebrations

Husband up early to Marshall Ilkley Fell Race on this bitter dismal day ( marked out the course in a hailstorm yesterday)
So I went into Leeds to meet my friend Elaine and we had lunch at the Arts Cafe. I had the nut roast Sunday lunch and she had pear, cranberry and blue cheese salad, both delicious .
Both of us succumbed to a pudding and chose the chocolate and hazelnut delice with a honeycomb crumb and salted caramel sauce-fab!

Popped into the Leeds Town Hall to watch some of the local Chinese community celebrate New Year. Took quite a lot of photos but chose this one as it shows part of the magnificent organ that takes pride of place above the stage where the Leeds Chinese Community School dancers are performing.

Going to the closing event at Ilkley Film Festival tonight to see Asian Dub Foundation perform their live score to the film LA Haines.
