Little did I know...

... when I started keeping my redundant road tax discs all those years ago, that they would come in handy for an indoor blip one day.

I bought my first car - a second-hand two-tone green Morris Minor, which I loved and whose registration number I can reel off nae bother, (but don't ask me what my present car's number is) - in 1970, but I didn't start collecting tax discs until a few years later.

Although I was told to remove my out-of-date disc when I renewed my road tax at the end of last month, I didn't remember to do so until today, which gave me the idea of blipping them before chucking the lot. Is there any point in keeping them now?

Today's weather has been as horrible as yesterday's was glorious!
