High Water

This morning was cold and frosty so after out morning walk we dropped down into Lyme Regis where a very high tide was expected.  As it was this morning the sea was very calm and very little wind, the water level came to the top of the harbour but apart from small amount of water which had splashed up onto the wall all was well.
This afternoon a terrific storm of rain and wind has sprung up so it may be different this at this evenings tide.
