Working Hard

This is a Dr T. He is an academic on sabbatical and is working all the hours God sends, which is appropriate as he is an historian of religion.

I often leave him in the morning in this pose and return several hours later to find him in the same position. Sometimes I ask if he has spoken to anyone during the day. When he says 'yes!' I know he means he's been conversing with several long-since-dead Puritan clergymen on any number of topics - the Devil, witchcraft, what it is to be godly - you name it.

Believe it or not, this makes him happy to the point of giddiness.

And it keeps him off the streets.
