Madulain houses

The narrow road that winds through this village doesn't always give the best impression of the historical beauty of these grand houses which served as hayloft, cattle shed and family home. We had a light snowfall overnight and on the North side of the valley the clouds were breaking up slightly. Winter has returned for the week.
