First Mud

My first outing up onto the South Downs with a mountain bike for over 5 years. And jolly enjoyable it was too. Most of the mud was still frozen so my very clean, very new bike was spared a total splatter-fest but it still got enough to consider itself "Blooded":) 

I returned to town along the coast from Shoreham and shorted word of encouragement to the those running in the Brighton half marathon. “The end is nigh” at the 11mile mark certainly put a smile on the faces of the marshalls.
