Happy New Year

A dragon floats high above the market place, stretched out & relaxing - basking in the heat of the day. It seems to be smiling & shows little interest in the awe inspired humans that tiptoe directly beneath it trying desperately to take a photograph unnoticed. It's colours shine against the polished blue sky & its eyes sparkle in the blazing sun. It has most likely come to the market to accept offerings & dance in the new year as it does every year & yet, still we are amazed.  It is not every day you get to see a dragon :)  

Chinese New Year is a great time of year for dragon spotting. At this time they are plentiful, playful and diverse. Highly recommend trying to see one if you can! And to those who celebrate - HAPPY NEW YEAR! :)
