Rakaia River

This is the view from the 16 tee on the Terrace Downs golf course.

A young couple who are very special to us had their wedding photos taken in this spot, but looking in the other direction; i.e. upstream, not downstream.

For the record I had one of my closest ever misses for a hole in one on this hole today. The ball pitched a metre short and somehow slid by the hole to 800mm directly behind the hole.We weren't even sure which side of the hole it went past!

I missed the putt!!! Choked! Too many hecklers goading me.
