Lop-sized Star Magnolia

I had another flower I wanted to post but the site said it was too small and I could not revert to the original to resize it....oh well...this bloom is pretty in its own way.....but not the normal star shape.

My grandson brought three friends to the beach house today...really nice 16 year old boys. They ate.....went hiking.....ate.....played football on the beach.....ate......went crabbing with grandpa....ate......played Jenga.....ate....ate.....went to bed. Teenage boys are growing and need lots of nourishment??? Very fun day.

Now I must go to bed too because they said they are getting up early to explore the low tide pools.....so I will need to feed them a good breakfast......hopefully, their early is not too early.....probably not, they are teenage boys! :-)))))))    Low tide is at 9:30AM...
