Nothing like having the time to park and take a good 2 mile walk (round trip) to a local pond in southern Oregon. There were a zillion finches, sparrows, and a few blackbirds. This one however is a western scrub jay if I am reading the bird book right.. He was just soaking in the afternoon sun, very weary of me. It was very hard to get the beautiful blue but he stayed there long enough to get this shot.
