Serious backflip.

There was a small amount of sleep before we were up early, armed with several mugs of tea, to build a scaffold. Not something I've encountered in my history of watching the TdF but my BIL's friend had taken his TdF watching duties seriously and hired a scaffold so that the kids would have a great view of the race. At 8am, it seemed like overkill but the crowds in Yorkshire were insane so it was well worthwhile.
