Swings and roundabouts

Had a lovely breakfast with Jo and the kids who had stayed overnight. We went to see mum down the road as Jo hadn't seen her for a while. Jo needed to get a couple of bits from the shops before they set off to see another friend in Wokingham. Took her into Crawley torn centre where, after lunch, we said goodbye to them.
It had been a lovely 24 hours with them. I haven't seen Jo for 2 years and we don't speak often but we always manage to pick up where we left off and settle into our relaxed chat. I suppose we lived together for a long time during uni in Birmingham and then we moved to London together (plus two other girls) to find nursing jobs. We know each other inside out. Her children are wonderful and a credit to her.
