Where Have The Years Gone?

Today we started celebrations for my daughter's 18th birthday, which is on Monday. We went out for lunch with a group of her friends, who all came back to the house afterwards.
I made a display in the living room of photos, one photo for every year of her life, going round the room. It was lovely to see how she has grown from a cute baby, to a lovely little girl, to a beautiful mature woman. As nice as it was to see the photos like that, it also made me think 'where have all those years gone?'
