Birthday treat

to myself.

I went to a free motion embroidery workshop held by Jo Hill of Jo Hill Textiles. I'd discovered her site on Pinterest and liked the look of her work.

I was going to say can you guess which one is mine ...
but I think I might have given the game away.

Jo was kind enough to collect me from the station. She was also most generous in sharing her knowledge and her materials and the six of us who attended had a brilliant day.
(One lady needed to leave early so you see only 5 finished pictures.)

Thanks to everyone for Happy Birthday wishes, I've had a lovely couple of days already and there's more to come!
