London Skyline

A view of the ever changing London skyline.  This is looking towards the St George Wharf development from Westminster Bridge.  I loved the lighting and the cloud formation - but cursed the yellow parking notice hanging on the lamp post!

I managed to get to the Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery - only just in time: tomorrow is the last day.  I found it one of the more successful exhibitions of the last few years;  more interesting portraits of more interesting people.  Some of the portraits were a little conventional and straightforward (the subject standing straight with arms hanging straight at their sides, placed against a plain background - not very imaginative or exciting) but there were some attractive and interesting portraits as well.  Enjoyable.
