Out of the woods

Tiger city

Oslo has been called Tiger City by poet Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson as a rather negativ expression. His poem picture the countryside as a horse and the big, mean city as the tiger.
Since then, the people of Oslo have turned the phrase around and are more proud than ashamed of the phrase.
