Moon, Venus and Mars
It was extremely calm this evening so popping down to my favourite spot on the river Tay, I was looking towards the moon and managed to see that Jupiter was just below it, and if you look closely enough Mars is the brown smudge just above it. This is not a regular occurrence , the last time was 2008 , and as the moon sets quickly it isn't visible for long!.
I'd set me camera up for ISO 100 which means a long exposure would be necessary, a sturdy tripod is essential for this and as there was no wind i was in luck tonight. I set it to 20 seconds exposure at F16 and took a few shots, the sun had been down for around 20 mins and the blue of the sky was still visible.
