Finally!

So after getting ill the first time I visited India, not having time the second time, getting close the last time it was finally fourth time lucky and I got into the Taj today. David was the only one of our group who had been before and I have to say up close it really is a wee bit special. So glad I finally got the chance to.

We had a car pick us up at around 7am and we got into the Taj for about eleven. We had about two and a half hours there then headed over to Fatehpur Sikri, which was also amazing, but not in the same league as the Taj.

It all meant we didn't get back to the hotel until after nine pm so it was a long day but very worthwhile. Home again tomorrow after a great week which has been really productive, but also one in which I finally after all those attempts properly saw the Taj Mahal
