The Old alleys of St Peter Port #18

This is outside The Crow's Nest Brasserie which is half way up the North Pier Steps. These steps lead from the seafront to the High Street.

It looks like a relaxed place to sit out and sip a glass of wine but the reality is its also outside the bookies and is nothing more than a grubby place for a fag break or to walk through as quickly as possible. The sooner cigarette smokers are removed from these lovely spaces the better for everyone.

Under the Crow's Nest is the Ship and Crown pub which is where we gather to put the world to rights after bellringing at the Town Church on a Thursday evening.
