Birthday Shrine

It was my wife's birthday today, so there was little time for photography as I was busy making sure her day was wonderful. We started with cake on the patio and ended with fondu in our living room. In between, she was able to indulge in activities she enjoyed (apart from the annual homeowner's meeting), like creating the chicken shown here from one of her small gourds. A quick project to try out some new paintbrushes, a birthday present from her fellow gourdist at the complex, before embarking on other fun diversions.
