Tower and Flowers

So another lovely sunny day in Edinburgh, I thought I'd head onto the roof terrace of the National Museum of Scotland and get some lovely skyline shots, I got a couple but it was actually quite hazy and you could really see the Forth of Fife (I did take this Panorama with my phone that I quite like).

So I headed back out after a short wander around (I could have spent the rest of the day there but didn't want to miss out on the sunshine, no doubt I'll return for more Blips when the weather is poorer (although the Fascinating Mummies display end this weekend). So back outside I came across a lovely display of yellow br0om just beside the museum and took this shot with the museum tower in the background. The museum is made up of a combination of old and new architecture, there's a magnificent Victorian atrium in the center and at one end is a modern building containing the Tower Restaurant.

I highly recommend everybody should visit the National Museum of Scotland if they get the opportunity it's FREE and a great place for taking photos.
