Amber jelly
Third Saturday of the month so it was my turn to find and check the Exmoor ponies out on the reserve. With over 500 acres to search it can take several hours, especially if you get distracted by other things. In my case its usually fungi that divert me. We've had a lot of rain over the past three days which has rehydrated some interesting jelly fungi. I think this is the amber jelly fungus (exidia recisa) growing on willow.
