Future Buddha

Had to stop and snap the giant future Buddha as usually the statues are of the skinny version. The rice paddies are being re planted so the countryside is once again transforming into reflective photogenic glory. Every time I leave the city I am stunned by just how darn pretty Thailand is. 

We got up nice and early and headed to Mae Ngat Dam, mostly as an excuse to get out on the bikes into the countryside. Scrummy tom yum and other stuff for lunch,.
