the mouse house.

A long time ago,a group of mice were traveling through the area  when a terrible storm struck. Luckily they spotted these little caves which have been formed over many years by the water dissolving part of the soft limestone. They scrambled into the caves and remained there for many days until the storm had passed. By the time they came out they discovered that many of the girl mice were pregnant so they decided to stay longer. Then they found the view was amazing and there were lots of grass seeds to eat. And so, as my children[and now my grandchildren] will tell you, these holes are mouse houses....... but only very special people ever get to see the mice.
