Journey to the South Island

After a long night last night we some how managed to drag our arses out of bed to catch the 3 hr ferry to the south island.

The crossing was pretty uneventful, stunning views as we arrived into Picton and we met our new bus and driver on the other side.

The rest of the day consisted of stopping for wine tasting at a vine yard which closes on mondays. Great.

So we continued onto Nelson where we managed to get Jeffs perscription so he's all drugged up now. Before heading into the sleepy village of Kaiteriteri where we are staying the night. So much colder on the south island!
