New adornment

I was told by my work based style advisor earlier in the week that I needed a "statement necklace" to complete my outfit.
On Thursday I dutifully zipped off to House of Fraser and found THREE that spoke to me in what I thought was an appropriate manner. And spent only two figures.
She approved of my choices, saying I was very good at taking her direction. 

Today (Friday) has been exhausting as my cough has got a lot worse. Haven't had one like this since I was very young I think. Time to plaster on the Vicks Vaporub in the hope that will move things along. It's hard to breathe without pain. But hey, I'm not allowed to be ill for approximately 3 months, so I'll soldier on womanfully.  Moan over for today.
