Automata Workshop

We did a workshop today where we created several automated drawing devices using, amongst other things, motors, elastic bands and laser cut cogs. 

This is part of a "drawing" done with a motor and offset cog taped to a paper cup device which held 4 bits of charcoal. The motor and cog created enough vibration to make the cup dance over the paper making marks.
