A Day At A Time.

Down, Down, Deeper And Down

And so it was. After a day and a half of fantastic, sunny weather, down came the clouds.

Just a little at first, but then, a deep, dense miasma descended, turning visibility to a few metres at best. Without a sense of contrast or relief for the terrain, skiing becomes a completely different experience. And not such a pleasant one!

A long train of figures felt their way gingerly down the mountain through the thick fog towards the lower levels, where some visibility returned.

We made it to the village and had some lunch. Then it started to snow.

So we just a did one short run on the lower pistes before calling it a day and coming home.

We were very lucky to have such a good time and certainly can't complain if the last couple of hours were more of a challenge.

Can't wait till next time.
