Number one fan

Dex watches on as his sister takes to the stage. The Talent Show auditions are finally here!
A few months ago a good friend overheard Olivia singing and was very impressed and encouraged her to enter the whole school talent show. She's a bit too young but she has nagged persistently asked and asked and the organisers very graciously allowed and encouraged her to go for it.
We had a meeting after school so by the time we had arrived there weren't many people left but the stage manager encouraged Olivia to stand on the stage and have a go at singing into a microphone. She was too shy which we thought may be the case but told her not to worry as there was always next year when she would feel more confident.
