Making steam at Pickering station.

We went to pick up a tree from the nursery near the town and thought we would pop in and collect a train time-table. As luck would have it the 12.00 was just about to depart for Grosmont. 

The railway had opened for the half-term holidays and will close again until March. The dining cars were laid out for lunch and created a real vintage atmosphere.

The tree, however was not exactly what we were looking for so ended up with some seed potatoes!
