Decoupage with House Beautiful pages

I'm attempting to cover a piece of brown Shredded Wheat packing box which has been opened up and cut to fit the hole in my fireplace. This is to stop the drafts that come down the chimney and hopefully it will look a bit more interesting than just plain cardboard.
