Spanish lessons took an interesting turn when we gave up on grammar and went to the Sucre cemetery. Apparently it's quite normal to go chill there and we even saw a few boys and gals on dates to sit in the cemetery. When a legit funeral starting happening I thought I should probably put my camera away but apparently it's quite normal to spectate on funerals here and my teacher encouraged me to snap away. Grim I know, but the mariachi band made it seem more like a celebration than a funeral.
