Edwardian potting shed - what a gem.......
A winter visit to see the spring flowers, in particular the winter walk with aconites, snowdrops and crocuses. That was going to be my blip of the day but the light was awful, so dark and gloomy with heavy cloud cover. So Plan B - the recently restored Edwardian potting shed. It looks as though the head gardener, his domain, had just arrived on his bicycle which has been left in the doorway. I love the neat orderly collection of pots and the dried flowers. This would have been a hive of activity in Edwardian times to ensure the big house had all the flowers and produce it needed. It is good to see the potting shed, vegetable and herb gardens and the cold frames looking as good as new and are now ready for action.
