A change of plan meant that I could take the day off today. Last night I noticed that there was a spring tide due today so we headed off to Parkgate on the Dee Estuary.

The tide did not disappoint and came a long way in. Birds a plenty to see and plenty of bird watchers to see them. Are the guys with the ultra long lenses compensating for something?
