High tides at the moment. In this view the tide has ebbed but has left many pools on the grassy foreshore west of Arnside.

Soon the grasses will begin to green. This bay is just over two miles from my front door. When I arrived there were two Little Egrets and some Bar Tailed Godwits. But they were too far away for a shot and they soon detected my presence.
